After a string of four wins, Big Piney's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Greybull Buffaloes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Big Piney's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-13. As for Greybull, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-9.

Big Piney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greybull, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pine Bluffs at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
