Football Game Preview: McClain Tigers vs. Jackson Ironman/Ironladies

McClain is 0-8 against Jackson since October of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Ironman/Ironladies at 7:00 p.m. McClain has given up an average of 26 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, McClain lost to Washington at home by a 42-27 margin.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Jackson over Hillsboro in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Ironman/Ironladies blew the Indians out of the water with a 55-21 final score. Considering the Ironman/Ironladies have won three matchups by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for McClain, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

McClain took a serious blow against Jackson when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 55-0. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
