Volleyball Recap: Twin Loup Comes Up Short

Twin Loup was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 4th.

Despite the loss, Twin Loup saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kinley Keefe had 11 digs and two aces. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Keefe.

Twin Loup's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Anselmo-Merna, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Twin Loup didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Sandhills Valley on the 27th. As for Anselmo-Merna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Maxwell on the 27th.
