Recap: Philip Scotties vs. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers
On Friday, it was close, but Philip sidestepped Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] for a 53-50 win.
Philip found their leader in underclassman Drew Terkildsen, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Terkildsen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Fayth Martin, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Philip's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven], this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
Philip's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wall at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. Wall knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully Philip likes a good challenge. As for Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven], they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-10 win vs. Pine Ridge on the 10th.
