Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manitowoc Lutheran). They put the hurt on the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen with a sharp 11-1 win on Tuesday. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Flying Dutchmen recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Manitowoc Lutheran's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Oostburg, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manitowoc Lutheran will take on Hilbert at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oostburg, they will square off against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
