Baseball Recap: Dodge City Takes a Loss

Dodge City came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hays Indians, falling 13-3. The Demons have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Dodge City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Torrez, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Dodge City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Hays, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Indians beat Dodge City by a score of 11-6 later that day.
