Baseball Recap: Goshen Takes a Loss

Goshen suffered their closest defeat since May 1, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the NorthWood Panthers by a score of 4-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 on May 5th.

Goshen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Cline, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Goshen's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for NorthWood, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-10 record.

Looking ahead, Goshen will challenge Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for NorthWood, they will take on South Bend Saint Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
