Softball Recap: East Wake Academy Takes a Loss

East Wake Academy fell victim to Falls Lake and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Firebirds. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

East Wake Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Falls Lake, they pushed their record up to 11-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither East Wake Academy nor the Firebirds have any future games scheduled.
