Baseball Recap: Wilcox Central Comes Up Short

Wilcox Central fell victim to Greenville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 on March 16th.

Wilcox Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Greenville, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Wilcox Central will take on Thomasville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenville, they will head out to challenge Calhoun at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
