Centennial had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They never let Varsity Opponent get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won three contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Matt Romero and Jethro Rehnberg made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Romero struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Rehnberg tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March of 2024. At the plate, Romero scored three runs while going 2-for-2, while Rehnberg went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave Rehnberg a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Preston Smith, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Centennial's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1.
