Volleyball Recap: Gunn Comes Up Short

Gunn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Los Altos Eagles. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Gunn took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-20, 24-26, 22-25, 25-19, 15-4.

Gunn's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Los Altos, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gunn is set to challenge their familiar foe Saratoga at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Los Altos will take on rival Mountain View at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
