Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Homeschool Skates Past Trinity Christian with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hope Christian Academy, Trinity Christian Homeschool was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Trinity Christian Tigers 73-45. Trinity Christian Homeschool has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 28 points or more this season.

Leading Trinity Christian Homeschool to victory were Matthew Cupp and Levi Syx. Cupp dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards, while Syx shot 46% from the field en route to 23 points. Syx's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points. Jacob Peoples also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

Trinity Christian Homeschool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Trinity Christian Homeschool's win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Trinity Christian Homeschool and Trinity Christian will both be playing Tabernacle the next time they take the court. Trinity Christian Homeschool will head out to face Tabernacle at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Trinity Christian will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 20, 2026.
