Softball Recap: Copperas Cove Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Midway hit Copperas Cove with a 18-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldawgs came up short against the Panthers, falling 21-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Copperas Cove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabrielle Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Copperas Cove's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-9. As for Midway, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-2.

As of now, neither Copperas Cove nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
