Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Gray's Creek walked away with it. They blew past the Wakefield Wolverines 10-3 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 15 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Hannah Welsh made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Welsh was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February.

Coming up, Gray's Creek will face off against Cleveland on Tuesday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Wakefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
