Baseball Recap: Milken Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Milken proved they can win big last Monday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Beverly Hills Normans 11-10. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Normans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Jared Dunn was a standout: he scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jonah Herschko was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Milken pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Beverly Hills, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5-1.

Looking ahead, Milken is taking a road trip to challenge Esperanza at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Milken is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Beverly Hills, they will host Inglewood at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Beverly Hills has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
