Basketball Recap: Franklin Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Franklin had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They secured a 60-54 W over the Northumberland Indians. The victory was nothing new for the Broncos as they're now sitting on four straight.

Despite the loss, Northumberland still got an impressive performance from Tyreek Lundy, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine assists. Lundy is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. JD Barber was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Franklin pushed their record up to 16-12 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Northumberland, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5.

Coming up, Franklin will face off against Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lancaster will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Franklin surely won't give up without a fight. Northumberland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
