Softball Recap: Luther Prep Has No Trouble Against Big Foot

With a playoff win on the line, Luther Prep rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Big Foot Chiefs. Considering the Phoenix have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Luther Prep has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Big Foot, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-11.

Luther Prep has already played their next matchup (against Racine Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Big Foot does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
