Preview: Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders vs. Tabernacle Christian Conquerors
The Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders will head out on the road to challenge the Tabernacle Christian Conquerors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethel Christian Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
After soaring to 74 points the game before, Bethel Christian Academy were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 116-21 loss at the hands of Tri-Cities Christian. While losing is never fun, Bethel Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 479th in North Carolina, while Tri-Cities Christian is ranked 132nd in Tennessee).
Meanwhile, Tabernacle Christian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 73-50 margin over Newport Christian.
Bethel Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team has lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season. As for Tabernacle Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.
