Volleyball Recap: Hiawatha Triumphs

Hiawatha won the last time they faced Sabetha and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Hawks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bluejays.

While Hiawatha won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Claire Twombly and Kylie Nelson, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Adison Williams and her 24 assists. Nelson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hiawatha's victory bumped their record up to 15-20-1. As for Sabetha, their loss dropped their record down to 4-27-3.

As of now, neither Hiawatha nor the Bluejays have any future games scheduled.
