Linden waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Riverbank Bruins. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Linden's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Riverbank, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Linden will take on Tokay in a tournament on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Riverbank, they will welcome Bret Harte at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
