Football Recap: Fairport Takes a Loss

Fairport was the 39-10 winner over Webster Thomas when they last played one another back in September of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between the Red Raiders and the Titans didn't end well, with the Red Raiders falling 28-14. The contest marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fairport's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Webster Thomas, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Fairport will welcome Rush-Henrietta at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Royal Comets' defense has only allowed 12.6 points per game this season, so the Red Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Webster Thomas, they will head out on the road to face off against Greece Olympia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
