Preview: Navarre vs. Milton
Navarre is 8-0-2 in play against Milton since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Navarre will be playing in front of their home fans against Milton at 6:00 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.
Last Friday, Navarre sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Pensacola Catholic. The win made it back-to-back wins for Navarre.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Bradley DiGiorgio and
Chase Dixon, who scored.
Meanwhile, Milton kept a clean sheet against Escambia on Friday. They had just enough and edged Escambia out 1-0. The victory was just what Milton needed coming off of a 4-0 defeat in their prior game.
Navarre has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5-3 record this season. As for Milton, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Navarre came out on top in a nail-biter against Milton in their previous matchup last Thursday, sneaking past 2-1. Will Navarre repeat their success, or does Milton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
