Baseball Recap: North Branford Makes It Eight in a Row on the Road

While North Branford's victory against East Hampton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Thunderbirds came out on top against the Bellringers on Monday by a score of 2-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win continues a trend for the Thunderbirds in their matchups with the Bellringers: they've now won five in a row.

North Branford's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for East Hampton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
