Volleyball Recap: Ella Hasner's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fellowship Christian over Wesleyan

Fellowship Christian lost against Wesleyan back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Paladins took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Paladins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Several Paladins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ella Hasner, who had 15 digs and two assists. Makenna Mosier was another key player, getting 12 assists and five digs.

Leading Wesleyan to victory were Allie Godfrey and Lily Phillips. Godfrey had 12 digs, while Phillips had four digs. That's the most digs Godfrey has posted over her last seven matches.

Fellowship Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 27-10. As for Wesleyan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-9 record this season.

Fellowship Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Mount Pisgah Christian on the 30th. As for Wesleyan, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Johns Creek on the 2nd.
