Basketball Recap: Southwest Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southwest can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 108-14 loss at the hands of the Decatur Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1026th, while the Eagles are ranked 25th).

Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Decatur, the victory was the 25th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 31-3.

As of now, neither Southwest nor Decatur have any future games scheduled.
