Basketball Recap: Russian Mission's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Russian Mission had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They came out on top against the St. Mary's Eagles by a score of 73-65. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 80-76 win back in February.

Russian Mission pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points over those games. As for St. Mary's, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Russian Mission wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 81-58 loss against Scammon Bay on the 27th. St. Mary's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
