Softball Recap: Mae Jemison Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lee on Wednesday, Mae Jemison came back down to earth. The Jaguars fell 11-8 to the Columbia Eagles on Thursday. The Jaguars have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Mae Jemison's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Columbia, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Columbia has already played their next matchup (against Whitesburg Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mae Jemison will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' game: after the Eagles face off against the Warriors, they'll take on Mae Jemison again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
