Soccer Recap: Governor Mifflin Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Governor Mifflin was not quite Hempfield's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Black Knights by a score of 2-1. Governor Mifflin were not able to make up for their loss to Hempfield from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Governor Mifflin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Hempfield, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Coming up, Governor Mifflin will challenge Lampeter-Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hempfield, they will head out to take on Hershey at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
