Basketball Recap: Kamryn Jackson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Victoria East over Victoria West

Victoria East suffered their closest loss since November 14, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Victoria West Warriors by a score of 59-56. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 53-42.

Victoria East lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kamryn Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Jackson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played. Kymorie Clark was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Victoria East's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-13. As for Victoria West, they pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Terry the next time they take the court. Victoria East will host Terry at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Victoria West will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
