Basketball Recap: The Connection School of Houston's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

The Connection School of Houston can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against the Banff Bears by a score of 76-67. The Connection School of Houston's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Banff's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Oriedetu, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. Oriedetu is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Sumpter, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

The Connection School of Houston's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Banff, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

The Connection School of Houston is taking a road trip to take on Texas Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Banff, they will host Central Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th.
