Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Isabelle Horvath stepped things up a notch to give Bangor the 'W'. Horvath made a splash, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Hartford back in May of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Horvath has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 18 consecutive appearances.

Horvath's strong effort led Bangor over Hartford and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
