Preview: Beresford Watchdogs vs. Scotland Highlanders
The Beresford Watchdogs on the road again on Saturday and play against the Scotland Highlanders at 10:30 a.m. on January 27th. Scotland took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Beresford, who comes in off a win.
Beresford posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 50-19 victory over Irene/Wakonda. The win was just what Beresford needed coming off of a 75-42 defeat in their prior match.
Scotland suffered their biggest defeat since December 11, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 62-37 defeat at the hands of Alcester-Hudson.
Beresford has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season. As for Scotland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
