Volleyball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley suffered their biggest loss since October 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Ellington Whippets. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-3.

Ryleigh Maxwell paced Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Maxwell got some help from Hallie Abney and her eight assists.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-1. As for Ellington, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-3-1.

Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Kingston on the 25th. As for Ellington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Bunker on the 25th.
