McDonough had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Westminster Wildcats by a score of 65-55 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Warhawks, who have now won five matches in a row.

Zaiden Greene was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. Jaelen Kerbo was another key player, putting up 11 points.

McDonough was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

McDonough pushed their record up to 25-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Westminster, they moved to 19-7 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

McDonough has already played their next game, a 70-60 loss against North Oconee on the 1st. Westminster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
