Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for East

East had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Southeast Golden Buffalo by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Aces, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While East won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

Claire Buss paced East's offense, picking up 11 kills. Buss got some help from Isabella Molina-Gillis and her 12 assists. Layla Larson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

East now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Southeast, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Northwest on the 3rd. As for Southeast, they will take on Bishop Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
