Soccer Game Preview: Kalani vs. Kahuku

The Kalani Falcons and the Kahuku Red Raiders will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kalani's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Kalani is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Hawaii's top teams: Moanalua, who was ranked tenth at the time (Kalani was ranked 14th). Kalani came up short against Moanalua on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Kahuku earned a 3-1 win over Kalaheo on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Raiders.

Kahuku has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those four contests. As for Kalani, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
