Basketball Recap: Crawford County Comes Up Short

Crawford County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 55-46 to the North Harrison Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolfpack of the 64-59 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Crawford County lost, don't look at Blake Seibert. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Braxton Bowman, who posted 13 points and six assists.

Crawford County's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for North Harrison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Crawford County has already played their next match, a 72-66 win against Springs Valley on the 15th. As for North Harrison, they will square off against Clarksville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
