Volleyball Game Preview: Lovington Wildcats vs. Ruidoso Warriors

The Lovington Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Ruidoso Warriors at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lovington has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 30.

Lovington came up short against Hobbs on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Lovington was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Ruidoso lost 3-0 to Artesia on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-10.

Ruidoso now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Lovington, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Lovington might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Ruidoso in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
