It was a good run, but Shawnee unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coweta Tigers. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Coweta, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Shawnee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-34 loss against El Reno on the 25th. As for Coweta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-36 win against Yukon on the 25th.
