Softball Game Preview: Pleasant Grove Hawks vs. Prairiland Patriots

The Pleasant Grove Hawks will square off against the Prairiland Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Pleasant Grove has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Pleasant Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over Hooks on Monday.

Meanwhile, Prairiland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Caddo Mills, falling 11-1.

The win got Pleasant Grove back to even at 2-2. As for Prairiland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Pleasant Grove came up short against Prairiland in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 3-0. Can Pleasant Grove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
