Basketball Recap: Dresden Takes a Loss

Dresden lost against Bradford back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dresden Lions received a blow as they fell 52-33 to the Bradford Red Devils. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while the Red Devils are ranked 150th).

This is the second loss in a row for Dresden and nudges their season record down to 3-6. As for Bradford, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dresden will host Gleason at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bradford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clarksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
