Volleyball Recap: Hilltop Beats Holgate for Their Sixth Straight Win

Hilltop barely beat Holgate the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cadets put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Cadets, who have now won six contests in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-11.

Brynn Rodriguez paced Hilltop's offense, picking up 15 kills. Rodriguez got some help from Hayden JoHantgen and her 15 assists.

Hilltop's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Holgate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hilltop is set to face off against their familiar foe Pettisville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Holgate will take on rival Edon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
