Hilltop barely beat Holgate the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cadets put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Cadets in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-11.

Brynn Rodriguez paced Hilltop's offense, picking up 15 kills. Rodriguez got some help from Hayden JoHantgen and her 15 assists.

Hilltop's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Holgate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Hilltop wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Pettisville on the 2nd. As for Holgate, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Edon on the 2nd.
