Basketball Recap: Stuart W. Cramer Extends Winning Streak to Six

Stuart W. Cramer extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Oshauna Holland. The Stuart W. Cramer Storm snuck past the Charlotte Latin Hawks with a 39-33 victory on Friday thanks in part to Holland, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. Her morning made it 17 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Hadley Womack, who posted eight points and six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Despite the loss, Charlotte Latin still got an impressive performance from Lanie Edwards, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 11 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Bean, who put up six points.

Stuart W. Cramer's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Charlotte Latin, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-2.

Stuart W. Cramer and Hough will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Hough is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season. As for Charlotte Latin, they will venture away from home to square off against Hammond at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Charlotte Latin's defense has only allowed 29.9 points per game this season, so Hammond's offense will have their work cut out for them.
