It was a proper cat-fight when Jerome took on Burley on Wednesday. The Jerome Tigers walked away with a 61-52 victory over the Burley Bobcats. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Bobcats back in January, they had to take a 49-47 defeat.

Burley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ryker Page, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nash Gillette, who shot 41% from the field en route to 17 points.

Jerome is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Burley and nudges their season record down to 7-17.

Jerome wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-61 win against Minico on the 28th. Burley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
