Baseball Recap: North Eugene Comes Up Short

North Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to the Crater Comets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Highlanders have suffered since April 24, 2024.

North Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Crater, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Comets beat North Eugene by a score of 10-1 later that day.
