Basketball Recap: Winooski Piles Up the Points Against Northfield

Winooski won against Stowe last Saturday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Winooski Spartans claimed a resounding 62-28 win over the Northfield Marauders. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Winooski is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points over those games. Northfield is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Coming up, Winooski will be playing at home against Hazen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
