League recap: Valor Christian tops Castle View to extend winning streak

Valor Christian extended the longest winning streak in Freelance this week by beating Castle View, 49-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Eagles.

Valor Christian took down the Sabercats 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Luke Del Rio threw for 106 yards and three touchdowns and ran for five yards in the win.

Brent Vieselmeyer's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Marcus Wilson chipped in 58 yards. Christian McCaffrey helped Valor Christian's passing attack out by catching three balls for 33 yards.

Chaz Polson was the best wideout in the league this week as the Eagles beat Castle View. Polson racked up three receptions for 49 yards.

Valor Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Del Rio has thrown for 898 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while McCaffrey has 28 catches for 270 yards. McCaffrey leads the league in rushing with 535 yards.

Valor Christian led Freelance in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Sabercats. Del Rio in the win.
