Soccer Recap: Friday's Victory Is St. Michael Catholic's 13th in Last 14 Outings

It's playoff time, and St. Michael Catholic had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Citronelle Wildcats on Friday. Given St. Michael Catholic's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Citronelle are ranked 113th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Michael Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 77 goals over those 14 games. As for Citronelle, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1.

As of now, neither St. Michael Catholic nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
