Softball Game Preview: Dulaney Lions vs. Mercy Magic

The Dulaney Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Mercy Magic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dulaney's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Mercy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Dulaney's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over La Plata.

Not much got past Madison Schupple, who gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep La Plata off the board.

On the hitting side, Kimani Dennis was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Avery Remeto also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Mercy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Archbishop Spalding, falling 23-5.

Mercy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dulaney, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
